Purpose

JASKO Enterprises, Inc. is committed to protecting the privacy, security, and personal information of its employees and independent contractors while maintaining the highest standards of cargo security, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and customer service.

This policy establishes the information JASKO will provide, and the information JASKO will not provide, during the transportation of customer freight.

Scope

This policy applies to all JASKO employees, company drivers, independent contractors, customers, brokers, shippers, receivers, and third parties requesting driver identity verification or personal information in connection with freight transportation services.

Policy

To Our Valued Customers, Brokers, and Business Partners:

Our dispatch department has experienced an increasing number of requests requiring drivers to:

• Submit selfies or facial photographs.
• Send photographs of personal identification.
• Provide personal cell phone numbers.
• Install third-party mobile applications.
• Share personal contact information unrelated to shipment transportation.

While JASKO fully supports legitimate shipment verification and anti-fraud procedures, we also recognize our responsibility to protect employee privacy, cybersecurity, and personally identifiable information (PII).

Accordingly, JASKO has adopted the following policy.

JASKO WILL PROVIDE

✔ Company truck photographs displaying JASKO branding and USDOT information when reasonably requested.

✔ Tractor and trailer numbers.

✔ Driver first and last name when operationally necessary.

✔ Vehicle registration information when contractually required.

✔ GPS tracking through approved freight visibility platforms when required by the transportation agreement.

✔ Dispatch location updates.

✔ Estimated arrival updates.

✔ Proof of Pickup (POP).

✔ Proof of Delivery (POD).

✔ Any information required by applicable law or the governing transportation agreement.

JASKO WILL NOT PROVIDE

✖ Driver selfies or facial photographs.

✖ Photographs of a driver’s license transmitted by text message, email, or messaging applications unless specifically required by law.

✖ Personal cell phone numbers when company contact information is sufficient.

✖ Installation of third-party applications on a driver’s personal mobile device that collect unnecessary personal information.

✖ Continuous tracking of a driver’s personal device outside approved freight visibility platforms.

✖ Personal biometric information.

✖ Personal email addresses.

✖ Personal social media accounts.

✖ Any information unrelated to the transportation of the shipment.

Privacy & Data Security

Many third-party applications collect and retain user information, including location history, device identifiers, contacts, and other personal data.

Unless JASKO has reviewed and approved an application’s privacy and security practices, drivers are instructed not to install such applications solely to satisfy shipment requirements.

If a broker or customer requires the use of a specific platform, JASKO reserves the right to review that platform before authorizing its use.

Fraud Prevention

JASKO recognizes the increasing risks associated with freight fraud, cargo theft, identity theft, and unauthorized load activity.

We remain committed to cooperating with reasonable verification procedures that protect all parties while respecting employee privacy and cybersecurity best practices.

Upon request, our dispatch department can verify:

• Driver identity
• Equipment assignment
• Tractor number
• Trailer number
• Current shipment status
• Load authorization

Exceptions

Exceptions to this policy may be authorized only when:

• Required by applicable law.
• Required by a governmental authority.
• Required by the governing transportation agreement.
• Approved by JASKO management.
